At Avanta,
we take our obligation to protect our members very
seriously. That’s why we are upgrading our security
for internet banking users. Your internet banking
experience will be the same as before, only you will
have the peace of mind knowing that we have added an
extra layer of protection for you. If you are not
currently using internet banking, sign
up here!
What Do I
Need to Do?
The first
change you’ll notice after we have upgraded the
security is the internet banking log-in.
1) Click to
enroll for Multi-Factor Authentication here.
2) You’ll
enter your member number and password, then it will ask you to
type in a security code (to deter fraudsters from
obtaining account numbers).
3) You will
pick three questions and answers that will verify your
identity.
4) You’ll
also get to create a security image so you know you’re
on Avanta’s website.
When Will
This Happen?
The security
system will be upgraded on March 29th, 2007, but you
can start using the new secure log-in now.
